SEO Case Study for Dutch Flow Academy (2024–2025)

A Global Fitness Education Brand That Grew From 200 to 20,000 Monthly Visitors Through Strategic SEO

Introduction

When I started working with Dutch Flow Academy in August 2024, they had an amazing product lineup—global fitness courses, mace flow training programs, instructor certifications, and unique fitness tools.

But they had one big problem:
Nobody was discovering them organically.

Traffic was low, keywords were invisible, the website was slow, and conversions were almost zero.

That’s where I came in.

This is the story of how I helped them go from 200 monthly visitors to 20,000+ monthly organic visitors, while dramatically improving visibility, authority, and sales.

1. The Problem: What the Website Looked Like Before SEO

Before I started, Dutch Flow Academy was struggling with:

Conversion Issues

  • Poor user journey
  • Weak CTAs
  • Zero trust signals
  • Almost no sales from organic

Technical SEO Problems

  • PageSpeed score only 30–50
  • Core Web Vitals failing
  • Broken links & indexing errors
  • Robots.txt and sitemap issues
  • Weak mobile experience

Traffic & Ranking Issues

  • Barely 100–200 organic visitors a month
  • No keyword strategy
  • Most keywords were stuck on page 5–7
  • Zero backlinks

Content Issues

  • Thin content
  • Duplicate content
  • No topical clusters
  • No entity optimization
  • No content structure

2. The SEO Strategy (Built for SEO + AEO + GEO)

I created a strategy that would not only help Google understand the website — but also help AI search engines like ChatGPT Search and Google SGE retrieve better answers from the brand.

Phase 1 — Technical Optimization

  • Goal: Make the site fast, stable, indexable, and AI-readable.

    Steps:

    • Full technical audit (Screaming Frog + SEMrush)
    • Fix Core Web Vitals (INP, LCP, CLS)
    • Lazy loading + compression + CDN
    • Fix broken internal links
    • Clean sitemap + robots.txt
    • Improve mobile responsiveness

Phase 2 — Content & On-Page Optimization

  • Goal: Build authority, semantic relevance, and entity recognition.

    Steps:

    • Keyword mapping across all courses & tools
    • Rewrite all meta titles + descriptions
    • Build topic clusters (Mace Flow, Club Training, Mobility Training)
    • Add structured data
    • Rewrite product + course descriptions
    • Improve internal linking

Phase 3 — Off-Page & Authority Building

  • Goal: Increase Domain Authority + trust signals + global mentions.

    Steps:

    • Guest posts on fitness/wellness websites
    • Resource page outreach
    • Citation building
    • Instructor collaborations
    • Brand mentions in flow/movement communities

Phase 4 — Conversion Optimization

  • Goal: Turn visitors into paying students.

    Steps:

    • CTA redesign
    • Trust badges
    • Simplified navigation
    • Better product/course layouts
    • Social proof sections

3. Implementation (What I Actually Did)
